May, 2020 – Eswatini Railways Donates medical equipment in support of the COVID-19 initiative
Today, 20 May 2020, Eswatini Railways donated medical equipment worth E260, 000.00 to the Kingdom of Eswatini Government through the National Disaster Management Agency in support of the COVID-19 initiative. Handing over the cheque is ESR Board of Directors Chairman Alex Mngomezulu and ESR CEO Nixon Dlamini. In his Remarks ESR CEO stated that as a corporate citizen ESR will always support the government and the nation where possible. Following the pronouncement by His Majesty King Mswati III on the 19th April 2018 and subsequent to the declaration of change of Swaziland name to Eswatini, Legal Notice 80, 2018, the Swaziland Railway Board resolved to comply with the said Legal Notice and change the name of Swaziland Railway to ESWATINI RAILWAYS with immediate effect.
